Depression and Bipolar Videos

Knowledge is Necessity.

In late March 2008, I started reaching out to readers in a new way by producing my own short (about five-minutes) videos. The videos are aimed at practical solutions to fairly-common situations that come up in one’s life. The first deals with intercepting a mood swing and the second with isolation.

In coming weeks, I am looking forward to adding more videos. Stay tuned ...

Video: Isolation

Most people with depression and bipolar are introverts. We tend to isolate. But isolation can bring on depression. John McManamy discusses what is going on and what to do to head off depression.

Video: Intercepting a Mood Swing

Depression and mania need not automatically follow when things start going wrong. Often, we can intercept a mood episode before it happens. John McManamy discusses how successful patients manage.
